The 1995 vintage: the year that inspired us to create the first cru par excellence at Farina. For the first time ever, the grapes from the homonymous vineyard were pressed and vinified separately from the rest of our grapes, and the result was astounding. The Amarone Riserva Montefante is a harmonious sensorial encounter between style and texture, great flesh but also fine-grained tannic texture, which enhance its softness and drinkability. An intriguing bouquet of precious blue hyacinth envelops and inebriates, elegantly accenting the notes of blackberry, raspberry, and captivating spicy aromas. A fabulously velvety flavor, contains characteristic bitterness, with a hint of balsamic for a heady, persuasive sip.
