Time is all that any of us possess; for Farina, it remains the most precious resource. Time marks memories and enriches us with experience. Here then, is a wine recreated from the memory of the best late-harvest grapes reserved for our family wine, a wine created by a young Alessandro when sharecropping was still a reality.
In 2022 Alessandro, Claudio's father turned 80 years old. Dedicated to him is a high-end Valpolicella Classico Superiore from Negrar's highest hillside, the site of a 100-year-old vineyard that produces grapes of extraordinary expressiveness. As powerful and intense in its aromas, as it is graceful and refined on the palate, it defines a Valpolicella Classico Superiore of incisive structure and balance, inspired by tradition and made majestic by Farina's enological evolution.

Organoleptic notes
Impenetrable ruby red color with brilliant reflections. It is fruity and intense on the nose, with fine hints of ripe cherry and raspberry, plum and blackberry. The aging in wood evokes light notes of hazelnut and sarawak pepper. On the palate it is dry, but velvety and well balanced, with a pleasant finish of enveloping jam, long cooking as it was once prepared. With a balanced structure, it is expressed with a fine quality texture and a pleasant persistence.
Pairings
It goes well with red meats, boiled meats, roasts, pasta and vegetarian dishes with strong flavors and medium-aged cheeses.
